Finally, the pain is gone.

The braces aren't as painful anymore. Still sensitve to certain foods, but no more nagging pain...and no more Alleve.

Braces, Oh Braces.

Well the braces are on and they don't hurt as of yet but they feel uncomfortable. I'll post a pic when I get back to my apartment. I'm sure in the upcoming days I'll have more to say cause that's when people say they really hurt.

Spacer drama and BRACES!!!

On Saturday one of my bands came out and I was freaking out. I did learn how to get it back in but then I couldn't see it. So yesterday I went back to the orthodontist (Dr. Cope) and I told him what happened. This doctor is very smart and knowledgeable. He picked this band out of my gums and it was a little bloody. This didn't bother me cause I do not have sensitive gums. He put them back in and that is that.

Tomorrow is the big day. BRACES!!! The first real day of treatment leading to my surgery. I have many emotions about what is happening tomorrow. I'm happy, scared, excited, and hopeful. I just have to trust my doctors that they know what they are doing and everything will come out great. I also need to remember everyday that I'm feeling pain and anxiety. A lot of prayer will be going down through this process.
